The survey closes at midnight tonight…it’s your last chance to let us know what you like and what you may not like…and give us your suggestions. Great prizes if you take the time to let us know what you’re thinking!
Saturday hours added!
The Libraries are opening from 1 pm to 5 pm on
Saturday April 4, 2009
and
Saturday April 18, 2009
Come in if you’re looking for a quiet place to study. Staff will also be on hand for any help you may need.
Quiet in the libraries? Not so much…
We’re down to the final few weeks of the Winter Term…and the libraries are not exactly havens of peace and quiet. Group work is a major component of most programmes but we need to provide quiet study areas as well. The library staff at both campuses are working hard to accommodate these very different needs. Could we ask for your help? Please respect the need for quiet study space in these few final weeks.
Laptops…digital cameras…oh my!
It’s getting close to end of term…assignments and presentations are well underway. Have you thought about adding a little kick to your presentation by making a video or making up your own portfolio of pictures? Or maybe you need a little extra computer time to work on an assignment?
The libraries have digital cameras, digital video cameras and laptops available for 24 hour loan. Come into the libraries to book in advance, if you’re interested, and have a look at the types of equipment we have to offer.
Successful book launch for Rev. Dr. Conteh @ NOTL Campus Library
The book launch held for Rev. Dr. Prince Conteh’s new book, Traditionalists, Muslims, and Christians in Africa: Encounters and Interreligious Dialogue, was attended by an enthusiastic crowd at the NOTL Campus Library on March 17th. Munchies were enjoyed, discussion was lively and the crowd called for more! Keep an eye on the blog for future events being held at either of the campus libraries.
