Library Student Assistant wins Pillitteri Estates Winery marketing contest
Congratulations Jillian & Jessica!!
The NC Libraries is very proud of library student assistant Jillian Grenier and teammate Jessica Kueh’s recent accomplishment of winning the first ever Pillitteri Estates Winery wine marketing contest. We always knew Jillian was a talented Graphic Design student and this is further proof of her skills and bright future.
The Details:
“Pillitteri Estates Winery held its first-ever wine marketing contest this winter, tapping into young, local talent to brand their new icewine. Five teams of contestants in various programs at Niagara College were challenged to create a brand and marketing concept for a vidal icewine destined primarily for Asia. The students presented their concepts to the judging panel on March 26, and the winners were announced on April 9. Business student Jessica Kueh and graphic arts student Jillian Grenier won the top prize of $1,500 with their “Iceworks” concept. The label includes bursts of red and white fireworks, and the marketing slogan is “A toast to the world from Canada”. The second and third place winners also received a cash prize.”
