Staff changes at the Library

Posted in Library Staff by gordanavitez on Jul 18, 2008

So far, this summer has been a busy one for the Libraries.

First and foremost, the creator of the Library’s blog has left us for her maternity leave. Congratulations to Laura! We wish her all the best while she enjoys her time off with her new little bundle.

I, Gordana Vitez, have moved from the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus to the Welland Campus to take over for Laura for the year. Yes, it’s a bit of a commute…but well worth it! The students, faculty and staff at the Welland Campus have been wonderful and welcoming. I’m looking forward to experiencing the craziness that is September here at the Welland Campus. But, of course, I’ll be thinking of and missing everyone in NOTL!

Cynthia Kamin has joined us on a full-time basis at the NOTL Campus while I’m here in Welland. You’ll know Cynthia from the Circulation Desk at the NOTL Campus for the past 6 years.

Change is a good thing and we’re all looking forward to sharing the changes with all of you!
